#Dele Alli - Bamidele Jermaine "Dele" Alli (born in Milton Keynes, England, April 11, 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and England team.

Born and raised in Milton Keynes, he signed up with the young team at Milton Keynes Dons at the age of 11 and entered the first team five years later, during the 2012-13 season. Over the past two and a fifty percent years, he had 88 official appearances for the club and scored 24 goals. He signed a contract with Tottenham Hotspur in February 2015 with an initial £ 5m bid, he has been loaned to Dons to finish the season. In the first season of full play at White Hart Lane, Alli was voted PFA's Best Young Player. He was ranked eighth in the list of the top 50 football players under the age of 20 according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport.

Alli played for British Under-17, Under-18, and Under-19 national teams. He made his debut in 2015 and was selected for the UEFA Euro 2016 squad.

Early career

Alli was birthed and raised in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, his father came from the Nigerian Yoruba tribe named Kenny, and his mother was Denise from England. He attended the Stantonbury Campus and at The Radcliffe School, Wolverton.


Alli had joined teenager Milton Keynes Dons when Alli was 11 years old. He made his debut for the first string at the age of sixteenth on 2 November 2012, who came in as Jay O'Shea's successor in the 64th minute in a 0-0 draw with English Premier League club Cambridge City in the FA Cup first leg at Milton Street. His first goal appeared in a repeat match against Cambridge, eleven days later, where Alli scored in a 6-1 victory at Stadium MK, at that time he was also exposed as a starter for the first time. He made his league launching in a 2-3 loss to Coventry City on a residential land on December 29, playing 71 minutes before being replaced by Zeli Ismail.

Alli's other league appearance in the 2012-13 season, when he became the second substitute for Patrick Bamford in the final of the season, his team won 2-0 over Stevenage at Broadhall Way.
